A collaboration that could not repeat itself.
Pusha Preme returned to founder and director Kevin Jacques again and again: Jacques has directed and edited eight of his music videos over several years. Each song called for its own visual world, and each production came with different conditions, from filming windows of under one hour to coverage captured across a full day.
The challenge was to keep the work developing from release to release instead of repeating one visual formula. The projects on this page are selected from that larger body of work.
A visual language for each release.
Rather than forcing every video into the same aesthetic, Jacques built a separate direction for each release. Among the selected projects, Sick of These Games used a game-inspired graphic frame to connect its staged settings. Give Up On Me became an observational portrait of the artist's world. Fighting Demons moved to a darker, more introspective treatment built around a single location.
Each change kept the artist recognizable while giving every release its own identity.
Fast when required. Different when the idea needed it.
Sick of These Games and Fighting Demons were each filmed in under one hour, yet still deliver staged setups, performance coverage, and contrasting shot sizes.
Give Up On Me took the opposite approach: production followed Preme throughout the day, capturing street footage, nighttime performances, backstage moments, and live audiences.
Jacques handled concept, direction, production, and edit on each of the selected projects.

What the collaboration proves.
The strength of this collaboration was never one successful shoot. It was returning across multiple releases, developing a distinct creative approach for each one, and executing it under very different conditions.
That kind of long-term creative partnership, owned from concept to edit and kept evolving release after release, is part of the foundation FOR ATTENTION is built on.
